Spirit Owl sculpture It’s been fired twice andThese anthropomorphic creatures are handmade in stoneware, fired twice and glazed in Japanese shino. Their faces are layered with pigment and then highlighted in a transparent glaze in order to animate their eyes. They each have a small pocket on their back in order to present them with an offering, be that a note of help or feathers and flowers. Theyre inspired by the way many humans often have a look of a specific animal, frequently one they are
