The film is directed by Noah Baumbach, who enlisted the help of Oscar nominated composer Nicholas Britell, who is known for his work on Moonlight, If Beale Street Could Talk, and the TV series Succession. Baumbach and Britell connected immediately at their first meeting when they discussed their ideas about music in films. After reading the
